Question: I'm so stressed out! What should I buy?
Answer: Take a look around our online Shop and see what
you are drawn to. The
"De-Stress!" department is a great place to start! We suggest a
combination of products that will appeal to more than one of your senses; an
aroma-rich, smooth bath oil with a CD of relaxing music, for example.
Question: Do either your "Party!" or "Morning
After" Bath & Massage Oil / Bath Milk blends actually contain
alcohol?
Answer: No; none of this range of aromatherapy oil special blends
contains any alcohol. Pure plant essential oils are diluted as standard in a
Grapeseed carrier oil (although you can request an alternative carrier oil at an
extra charge). There are no other ingredients at all.
Party! is called this because it's a zingy mix of Clary Sage, Myrtle,
Lemon, Orange and Bergamot that should get you in the mood for dancing! Morning
After is for the following day, when you feel like you overdid the punch -or
the Karaoke! This reviving blend of Rosemary, Peppermint, Rosewood and Lavender
should make you feel human again.

Question: Are Bach Flower Remedies the same as Aromatherapy?
Answer: No. Bach Flower Remedies don't really smell of anything
even though they are made from the flowers that give them their names - Wild
Rose, for example, smells no different to Pine. All Bach Flower Remedies,
including the Rescue Remedy, should be diluted in a drink and sipped regularly
throughout the day. Dr Bach's system of healing focuses on the emotional issues
that can get out of balance in all of us (but which might also lead to
ill-health).
Aromatherapy oils ('Essential Oils') smell of a whole range of scents
and Rose essential oil does indeed smell of the flower we see in summer gardens
whereas Pine reminds us of Scottish forests. Aromatherapy oils are used to treat
emotional as well as physical symptoms, but they are NOT to be drunk. They are
frequently applied to the skin in the form of massage oils, bath milks, body
lotions etc. They are often used very effectively in 'diffusers' such as
electric or candle-powered 'oil burners' which fragrance a room for enjoyment as
well as for therapeutic purposes, such as Eucalyptus to aid breathing if you
have a cold, for example.
